How I was able to Get Rid of My Skin Tags
Around the time that I really started to dig into my career, I noticed some weird changes with my body. I knew I was getting older – at 34, I felt practically ancient compared to my young 20-something co-workers. It still came as a shock though, when I began seeing changes in my skin. I noticed that moles where appearing where there hadn’t been any before, and all of a sudden I had a new crop of little spots and blemishes. I think my body forgot that I wasn’t 15 anymore and I began to have weird bouts of acne. Not fun at all.
The worst thing though was the skin tags. I became so self-conscious about these tiny flaps of skin that started spontaneously appearing under my arms and on my elbows that I started withdrawing from things I usually had a great time doing. Wearing sleeveless dresses was out, so I started missing out on my favourite warm weather activities.
The first thing I did was call my dermatologist. He told me that he could remove the tags through lancing, a procedure that would require him to literally cut the tags from my skin.
From what I read online, it was a painful procedure that often resulted in scarring. Even worse, it did nothing to prevent new ones from appearing, so I would have to repeat this procedure over and over again as new ones cropped up. On top of all that, it was ridiculously expensive. So that was out of the question.
It was at that point I had decided to opt for an in home solution. The first solution suggested tea tree oil skin tags. While the process looked easy enough, I decided it wasn’t for me and there had to be an easier way.
Removing Skin Tags with Revitol
After a little more research, I decided to try Revitol Skin Tag removal and was surprised by the results. I started applying it to the skin tags three times a day. After only about a week, I noticed that the skin tags were actually getting smaller. It only took a few more weeks for them to disappear altogether. I have the solution on hand should more of these little buggers appear, but so far I’ve been lucky.

The best part about the Revitol solution was that I didn’t have to go through the pain of a mini-surgery to get rid of these unsightly skin problems. No knives, no anesthesia, no cutting and no huge bills. I felt better than I had in months, and I immediately ran out to get a brand new swimming suit to show off my new clean and fresh skin. I never thought skin tag removal at home would be this effective!
After I used this product, I was intrigued to find out just how it worked. Nobody is really sure what causes skin tags, but they usually start to appear as people approach middle age. You can take steps to help prevent skin tags from surfacing, but they can and sometimes do.
Women get them more than men, and they tend to be more prevalent in people who are overweight, with high levels excess cellulite. The usually appear in the folds of the skin, and I got mine in the underarm area. Some people get them on the face, in the creases of their elbows and on their necks.
The skin tag removal solution shrinks the tissues in these skin tags, making them essentially dry up and fall off. This happens fairly quickly, and most people start to see results the first week. Skin tags don’t typically grow or change in shape, but they are permanent unless you find a way to remove them. Many people turn to medical interventions, but these can be painful and costly.
I’ve come to accept that my skin will change as I grow older, but I don’t have to just grin and bear it. When it comes to getting rid of skin tags, I swear by Revitol’s solution and I’ve even recommended it to friends. When the occasional skin tag pops up, I just apply the solution and within a week or two, I’m as good as new.
